I'm Olly, a documentary cinematographer with credits spanning science, natural history, and observational films across five continents. Comfortable operating as a two-person crew in remote, high-pressure environments, from three-months in a Himalayan orphanage to living with Iraq veterans in Colombia battling PTSD. Technically adept across Canon, Sony, and ARRI systems, long-lens, macro, gimbal, drone, and handheld work. Equally at home building trust with vulnerable contributors as managing DIT workflows on location. RTS Craft Award winner for camerawork; graduation film Did Darwin Get It Wrong? took Best Short at Rotterdam's Wildlife Film Festival. BSc Zoology (1st), MA from the NFTS in Directing & Producing Science and Natural History.
